Just a quick post to say I have taken part in this year’s Movember which is a charity for men’s health. Myself together with 3 work colleagues managed to raise a whopping £607 for the charity which I think is pretty good for something which grows naturally on your face. Here is a holding page I designed for Chord & Drum which is going to be a social network and interactive collaboration service for musicians. I have so far just been involved in the holding page design and development. The page is built into a WordPress theme.
Here is the finished Radio Etc 2011 Promo CD. It was a very limited print run of 50 x custom designed CD sleeves which were hand cut, folded and glued from 250gsm matte coated paper. This can be viewed in the portfolio section. Check out the music here

I have been working on some new MySpace 2.0 profiles so I thought I would write a quick post about the new format, a few thoughts on where the social networking website is at from my point of view and what my clients can expect with it in the not too distant future.
So here it is – this is the first blog post on my updated website. Having been online for well over a month it has been a fairly slow and quiet transformation – this is mainly because it has been under construction for a while so the less attention it got the better!
The portfolio is the main focus of the website and where I spent the most time developing. Work can be viewed by Media or by Client, depending what you are interested in. Selecting Branding, Print, Websites, 3D and VFX or Illustration will quickly display an overview of all the content in that section with just a single click. Since what I create for a client often covers multiple media’s, browsing by client will list all the relevant media for that client, again as an overview of work produced. If more information is wanted for a piece of work, another click on the image will display higher resolution images and also a brief description. The plan is to give the user the flexability to choose how and what they view, and not to over face them with too much content at any one time. The site is also easy for me to manage with a CMS since I only ever have to enter the work once.

I finally got round to getting one of my designs printed onto a t-shirt. This is strictly a one off for now, just to test the quality of the print. I am looking into getting more printed along with some other designs to, watch this space! The actual print process used is direct to garment (DTG) printing which might not necessarily be used if I was to get a bulk order done. The effect is nice and sharp and the colours are nice and bright. Check the picture belows.
SSTD002 is in the shops now. It features 2 brutal tracks by I:Gor who has had releases on Deathchant, Suburban Trash, Low Res, Hangars Liquides, Strike, Pacemaker, M-tronic along with his own label ADHD Recordings. I:Gor built his reputation making hardcore but these tracks prove he is at the forefront of producers who are merging hardcore and drum n bass and pushing the sound into new boundaries.

Here are a few last remaining composition shots from a project I worked on at Sunderland University before the hard drive containing all the raw footage died. The project was due to be part of an experimental promotional video for Sustained Records which looked into different extremes of climate change. Seen in the scenes below are fellow design graduates Matt Easom and Chris Winch who didn’t hesitate to join help out on the shoot – Cheers guys!
The next Substance poster is now complete ready for next months event. Incase you don’t know what it is, Substance is a brutal electronic event held in Leeds. This is the fourth event and is going to be the last one for a while, so make sure you get yourself down there if you think your eardrums can hack it. The artwork on the poster depicts a scene where hundreds of skulls create a mushroom cloud explosion.This time printed in B2 format! Check it..

These are some images showing the design degree show at Sunderland University. I studied ‘Design: Multimedia & Graphics’. It was rather good! Me and a group of friends created the show promotional material which covered the 148 page catalogue, adverts etc.
